About the Team:
We are a mid-sized and growing team tasked with analyzing and synthesizing healthcare documents, which cover a range of policy types and topics. By providing our clients with real-time updates on the latest changes to medical and pharmaceutical policies across the US Healthcare landscape, we help reduce claim denials and ensure patients receive coverage for the therapeutics they need. We achieve this by taking a detailed and methodical approach to all document analysis, as well as through technology enabled solutions.

Responsibilities:
Role & Responsibilities:
Read and work with complex, technical documents
Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, and follows style guidelines with a high level of accuracy
Synthesize relevant policy information from complex healthcare-related documents into a customized client report that summarizes important findings and provides valuable insights to users
Perform routine maintenance on an existing database of medical policy information, gaining relevant industry expertise
Responsible for coordinating specific team workflows and collecting statistics
Evaluate current content & processes and develop innovative approaches for improvement to increase accuracy and efficiency
Gain insight into the US healthcare landscape
Work independently with minimal supervision
Make independent and strategic decisions
Conduct Quality Control checks on your own work, as well as the work of colleagues as required
Provide support and guidance to new hires, participating in the mentorship program when requested
Skills
Strong writing and analytical skills
Ability to communicate complex subjects and ideas clearly
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus
Expert English language skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to adapt easily to new database systems
Ability to work well independently, collaboratively and cross-functionally
Inherent drive to improve processes and proven ability to implement changes in process
Qualifications:
Qualifications & Education Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (life science, social science, language-focused humanities), or 1-3 years of experience in a similar role (data quality management) is considered an asset
Educational or work experience synthesizing and summarizing complex technical information
Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; including queries and a variety of functions
A comprehensive understanding of the US healthcare landscape is considered an asset
This full-time role has tremendous growth opportunities within the Healthcare Document Analyst team, as well as the ability to transition into other departments across Policy Reporter & Trialcard. The role is a stepping stone to shape any career within the (US) healthcare industry.
