Description

Reporting to the Manager, Accounts Payable, the incumbent will support the Accounts Payable Department as well as other financial and administrative activities.

Responsibilities

  • Entering vendor invoices into accounting system on a daily basis;
  • Assisting in recording/reconciling bank payments in the SAP Accounting system;
  • Assisting in general accounting tasks
  • Assisting in month-end and year-end closing activities;
  • Assisting in providing daily customer service to internal and external customers;
  • Ensuring all service level agreements are met;
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Manager, Account Payable.

Qualifications and Skills

  • The candidate must be a current Bachelor University student, ideally in Business Administration or Accounting Discipline;
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
  • Good communication skills and team player;
  • Accurate and detail oriented;
  • Excellent PC skills using Microsoft Office software, particularly Word and Excel; SAP  experience would be an asset
  • Proficient in English, Knowledge of an additional language would be an asset (French).
