Description

Reporting to the Product Specialist, Business Intelligence Services (MACS), the incumbent will play a fundamental role in BIS Operations for the entire BI portfolio. This position will focus on the digitalization of the BIS Operations System, Customer Analytic, Data production and Data Delivery, Implementation, Customer BI Advisory and Training. This role will also be responsible for the modernization of the BI delivery mechanism including developing the API capability. The role will also be providing technical and BI support to the key BIS initiatives that enable a more robust platform and system for all BI solutions across IATA. This role will work closely with industry stakeholders including global airlines, technical partners and corporations in designing and developing operational collaboration framework, under the BIS leadership.

Responsibilities

– Responsible to maintain and revamp the digitalis BIS Smart Operations System;
– Responsible for contract implementation and data delivery leveraging the Smart Operations System;
– Drive the Customer Analytic Dashboard;
– Participate in quality assurance activities: testing, identification of issues and bugs, incident logging and follow up on issue resolution;
– Participate in product enhancement activities: develop product specifications/enhancement cases, testing and post-implementation support
– Provide Advisory services to newly added products and activities when required as part of BIS portfolio as per agreed scope;
– Maintain BIS product documents including SOPs, webtool manuals and training materials; Maintain updated client master tables and delivery records;
– Manage internal and external customer relationships, including responding to client queries, conducting webinars, product trainings and client satisfaction surveys;
– Responsible for reporting on customer related analytics such usage report etc;
– Establish good working relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders;
– Provide technical expertise in developing and implementing key BIS initiatives including: coding, database management, technical proposal development, solution technical implementation and project management;
– Lead the API project with IT department and potential technical partners including business requirement, market validation, prototype development and client engagement;
– Liaise with key stakeholders on regular basis to develop and maintain high-efficient operational framework with continuous improvement

Qualifications and Skills

– University degree (Bachelor or Masters) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent degree;
– 3-5 years’ experience in Business Intelligence operations function, preferably in a multicultural/commercial environment;
– High proficiency in common IT languages and popular BI tools to implement IT prototypes;
– Proven working experiences in developing technical solutions for data management;
– Solid experiences in performing end-to-end operations tasks including both front-end interaction and back office support activities related to the data exchange with air stakeholders;
– Outstanding ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural, fast paced and highly demanding environment while delivering on tight deadlines;
– Excellent in setting priorities and working with speed with a strong customer focus and a high level of drive and energy;
– Strong ability to take initiative and strong sense of ownership of the tasks;
– Proactive approach to problem solving; Result-driven and curious;
– Strong team player with a global mindset and sharing attitude;
– Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) and presentation skills.
