Program Assistant

Projet Communautaire de Pierrefonds is looking for a program assistant that will be present and helping with programs that the non-profit organization offers such as our improv program, our art club, a coding program, etc…

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Assist the animators with the day-to-day curriculum and activities.
• Make sure that the programs are going smoothly.
• Help animate a group of young children around the ages of 5 to 12.
• Build a trusting bond with the children and their parents.
• Report to the program director and the executive director on how the program is going.
• Make sure that the safety measures and rules are being followed by the group as a whole.
• Make sure that the establishment is well maintained and prepared for the next business day + well closed at the end of the day.
• Various other tasks.

Skills:

• Be energetic, fun, professional and ready to help animate a group of young children.
• Must be available on Fridays and Saturdays and maybe Sundays (TBD).
• Previous experience in animating various groups (especially children) is preferred.
