Position Purpose Summary:
To provide leadership and interactive support in the daily activities of our day camp program ensuring that children are included in games and other activities.
This is a seasonal position from June 28 – August 31, 2021.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with implementation of a weekly online summer day camp program targeted at children ages 6–11. Provide live interactive support.
- Maintain universal precautions as they apply to the evolving cleaning and sanitation standard in response to the Covid19 Pandemic.
- Assists with leadership training opportunities for youth volunteers
- Interacts broadly with congregation members, community partners and neighborhood families via virtual offerings.
- Other Duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education Level Attained:
Some High School
Special Licenses, Diplomas, Certifications or Requirements:
Related Working experience is an asset
Knowledge of typing, filing and computers is an asset
Knowledge and experience working with clients with complex needs and behaviors
Current First Aid/CPR
Valid Criminal Record and Vulnerable Services Check
Driver’s License and Clean Driver’s Abstract
Minimum Prior Related Experience:
Related Work experience is an asset

Incumbent works in generally agreeable conditions.
