Primary Years Teacher – Grade 5

Aspengrove School, a JK-12 International Baccalaureate School, is inviting applications from passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced grade 5 educators to start August 30, 2021, for the 2021-2022 school calendar year. The successful candidate will be interested in working with a community of committed learners. Reporting to the Junior School Principal, the appointed person will have the qualifications and experience for the role.

Qualifications will include:
Affinity with our school’s values and mission.

Hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent.

Current or ability to meet all of the requirements and certifications to teach in BC.

Experience teaching in a technology rich environment.

The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with staff members, students, parents, and outside community agencies and partners.

Strong knowledge of BC elementary curriculum.
