SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for the management and protection of Sherwin-Williams paint store accounts receivable assets through prudent credit decisions, current collection follow-up with stores and customers, third-party involvement, credit training and the enforcement of credit collection policies in the field. This role will also ensure employees are adequately trained to achieve efficient and effective operation of the department.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Personal computer skills desirable.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Access and Power Point.

Experience in hiring, training, evaluating work performance and educating field personnel in accounts receivable management.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel by air.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate and be understood in both written and verbal communications (i.e., phone).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prefer experience in Credit or Accounting; or prior accounting/professional accounts receivable management experience.

Prefer Bachelors Degree in a Business related field.

Ability to interact with management staff as well as external customers including, Collection Agencies, Credit Reporting Agencies and Attorneys.

Organizational, planning and management skills with the ability to establish priorities and handle many tasks at once.

Ability to provide service and support to the Credit organization, including in person customer visits as required assisting resolving problems and supporting sales.
