As an active team member of the school office we are seeking a person who possess strong organizational skills and effective time management skills. Providing service is a top priority and a positive helpful attitude is essential.Preference will be given to candidates with a strong commitment to Catholic Education, knowledge of reception/office procedures and excellent interpersonal skills required to interact with students, parents, staff and school business affiliates. Knowledge of Google, Word and Excel are an asset.
The position is responsible for the following areas:
Receiving student registrations and maintaining accurate student demographic information in PowerSchool and PASI
Setting up PowerSchool for the start of the school year and updating
Coordinating diploma marker requests, and assisting with ordering diploma exams
Preparing school class size survey as outlined by Alberta Education
Assisting the Principal with student/course timetabling and develop process for the next school year
Maintaining and updating the timetable in PowerSchool
Establishing a mid-term and final marks process for students by working with teachers and administrators
Submitting marks, corrections, evaluations and additions to Alberta Education
Printing and distributing final year-end report cards
Creating Honour Roll and failing student lists and letters for administration
Assisting with academic awards and athletic awards
Coordinating final exam exemption lists
