Job Title : Phonathon Caller

Salary : $14.25 per hour. 4% vacation pay and compensation for Legal Holidays will be included on each pay
Duration : May 9th, 2021 to August 26, 2021.
Schedule : Sunday – Thursday, 3:00pm – 7:00pm. Hours subject to change as government and university regulations shift.
Job Summary :
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent may perform some or all of the listed general administration functions. These functions are of moderate complexity and the incumbent performs them using established instructions.
Typical Functions :
Using established scripts, contacts alumni and parents of McGill students with the aim of securing donations for the McGill Fund and meeting established performance goals.
Provides information and answers questions regarding the University’s fundraising and academic initiatives. Some inquiries may require further research into the topic and escalation to the Phonathon Calling Team Lead or Phonathon Manager.
Collects and enters donor data and responses into the internal database.

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience
High School Diploma with one (1) year relevant experience in the field of work.
Other Qualifying Skills:
Must be a student currently enrolled at McGill.
Must have excellent verbal communication skills (English and/or French).
Experience in sales or call center environment.
