Postdoctoral Researcher- MM

Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will be interested in contributing to on-going research trajectories in the lab.

The first trajectory broadly examines Bayesian methods for SEM and particularly how historical data could be used to create informative prior distributions for various models.

The other develops and examines method for mediation analysis in Single Case Experimental Designs (SCEDs).

Primary responsibilities include conducting methodological research and writing papers. In addition, the candidate will contribute to the lab environment by attending and presenting at lab meetings and brown bags, and informally mentoring graduate and undergraduate students.

Qualifications:
Competitive candidates will have a PhD in quantitative psychology or related field by the time of appointment, a strong track record of research and interest in Bayesian statistics, mediation analysis, SCEDs, and/or SEM. Candidates with experience with running simulation studies are desired but expertise in this areas is not required.

Starting salary will be benchmarked at the SSHRC postdoctoral fellowship pay scale ($45K per annum plus benefits) and will be commensurate with experience. Dr. Miočević will additionally provide support to attend professional conferences. Postdoctoral candidates who have their own funding may also apply.
