Machine Operator

Kits is seeking smart, hardworking individuals to fill our need for a machine operator at our fulfillment center in Richmond, BC. If you possess a strong work ethic, great attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, we would love to meet you.

You will be overseeing multiple machines in our optical lab.

Skills Required:

  • Operation Monitoring – overseeing multiple optical machines. Ensuring they are operating at full capcity and attending to any slow downs in production
  • Equipment Maintenance – Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
  • Troubleshooting – Determining causes of operating errors and taking appropriate actions to fix.
  • Systems Analysis – Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
  • Complex Problem Solving – Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Repairing – Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.
  • Active Learning – Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Communication – Be able to work in a team environment, work with QA team to indentify issues and make improvemnets. Listening and understanding the issues the arise so that production can stay optimized.
  • Team player – Actively looking for ways to help co-workers, Going above and beyond to help fellow employees. Come to work everyday asking yourself. What can I do today to help.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
