AZ Instructor

Functions, duties and responsibilities:

• Provide quality in-class and in-cab training to students, by following Ministry of Transportation guidelines;
• Evaluate student progress and achievement; assume responsibility for the overall assessment of the student’s work within assigned courses;
• Provide weekly reports of student progress and related documentation;
• Ensure that all health and safety guidelines are followed;
• Provide a learning environment which makes effective use of available resources;
• Communicate effectively and regularly with administration staff and students to promote learning and ensure student success

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Class A driver’s licence with Z Endorsement
• 5 years experience
• Clean Driver’s abstract
• Flexible schedule
• Previous teaching experience is an asset but not mandatory
• Technical competency in Microsoft suite, Zoom, Teams
• Advanced written and spoken language skills in English, fluency in French is an asset
