Day Camp Soccer Counselor

Supercamp is a non-profit day camp located in Ville St. Laurent, on the Vanier College campus. We welcome about 300 campers and leaders each week, allowing them the opportunity to try new things, discover new passions and develop new skills. Main duties as Soccer Specialist

Animate groups of children and ensure their safety during the activities. Create and organize different activities and follow the program set forth by the administration of the camp. Collaborate in the preparation of themes and camp assemblies.

Requirements:

Education:

Grade 11 completed (Sec. 5) (17 years of age minimum)

Skills:

Ability to work and communicate properly with a team; can also take on leadership roles.

Sense of responsibility; punctuality.

Ability to adapt. Energy and enthusiasm.

Interacts effectively with children; a love for working with children.

Non-Scholarly Training:

AA-AAA player experience and/or coaching certification required,

Previous animation or camp experience considered,

Counsellor-In-Training certification considered,

Valid first aid certification.

Conditions:

Length of employment: 8 weeks, from the 28th of June to the 20th of August.

Be available for training in May and June (approx. 50 hours).

Salary: $13.85/hr

Bonus for all soccer hours (approx. 10h a week)

Hours: 40-45hours/ week
