Education and Experience
The minimum qualification is a Master’s degree; PhD is preferred. An equivalent level credential as appropriate for the discipline will be considered. Professional or post-secondary school work experience directly related to the duty assignment is an asset. Experience demonstrating a learner-centered teaching philosophy is desired. An active profile in scholarship, research and creative activity is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
The Department of Geography and Earth & Environmental Science is seeking a term part-time College Professor to teach 5 sections over the Fall 2021 and Winter 2022 semesters at the Kelowna Campus.
Courses include GEOG 172, Map Use, Design and Analysis (lecture), GEOG/EESC 206 Introduction to Soil Science (lecture and lab), EESC 311Environmental Impact Assessment (lecture) and GEOG 274 Introduction to GIS Analysis (lecture and lab).
An understanding of remote (online) teaching is desired.

Fall 2021: GEOG 172 001 Tues 0930-1220 (lecture).

EESC 311 001 Tues & Thurs 1100-1220 (lecture);
GEOG 274 001 Mon 1830-2120 (lecture);

Annual Salary/Hourly Rate Salary placement is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
