Overview:
The purpose of the Policy Service Administrator is to provide best in class service by making every
service experience a positive one. The position is responsible for facilitating policy service requests for
insurance and investment products. The goal is to ensure every service request received and sent to
carrier is in good order, to accurately and efficiently administer requests while maintaining.

sales, marketing and administrative support to our network of Independent Insurance and Financial
Advisors.
Responsibilities – What you’ll be doing:
Coordinate and expedite the processing of time sensitive service forms and requests received in
good order to the insurance carriers;
Facilitate the insurance process accurately and efficiently to help client and advisor complete
the requirements of the company;
Update, respond to and initiate activities within the client management systems to ensure policy
and client data is accurate using established procedures;
Verify accuracy of newly issued policies, update systems and distribute policies to advisor;
Develop and maintain working knowledge of administrative systems, products, required change
forms, services, product options, features and departmental process procedures;
Coordinate Claim handling between advisors and insurance companies;
Answering telephone calls and respond to advisor and policy owner’s questions and requests;
Prepare and process outbound daily mail and courier;
Request inforce illustrations as required;
Provide backup duties to New Business Administrator;
Provide reception and switchboard relief – answer and distribute all incoming calls and faxes;
Back-up to administer fixed income new deposits and maturing deposits;
Distribute policy notifications to advisors;
Seek out Global client’s notifications from carrier website and assign to advisor for service.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for and we will provide training candidate:
Pervious administrative insurance industry experience is an asset;
In-depth Knowledge of one (1) or more product lines (Life, Living Benefits, Investments and
Fixed Term Investments);
Written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are a must, including the ability to
target required messages to specific audience in a calm, courteous and professional manner;
Strong organization skills, high attention to detail and the capacity to solve problems while
considering impact to clients and company;

Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with frequently changing priorities and meet deadlines in
a fast-paced work environment, with a high level of accuracy, thoroughness and attention to
detail;
Proficient Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn new software quickly;
Initiative and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
with a proactive approach to improving systems; and
Willingness to learn, grow and develop within the organization.
Education & Licensing:
High School Diploma required;
Administrative Diploma is an asset
