Position Description

Division of Adolescent Medicine Academic Paediatrician (Contract)

Effective July 1, 2021 the Division of Adolescent Medicine, Department of Paediatrics at the Hospital for Sick Children which is an academic health science centre dedicated exclusively to children, affiliated with the University of Toronto, has a full-time (1 year contract) faculty position with an opportunity for a future permanent position.

The successful candidate will be an individual with a clinical and academic focus in Adolescent Medicine, including children with eating disorders, chronic health conditions, and youth transitioning into adult care. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and effective teacher with training, certification, and experience in Adolescent Medicine.

All candidates must be able to function proficiently in English, hold an MD, MBBS or equivalent thereto and be certified or eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or have comparable qualifications. Candidates must hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
