The School of University Studies & Career Access seeks candidates for a full-time 1-year sessional instructor in Cultural Anthropology.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach:
ANTH 101: Introduction to Cultural Anthropology
ANTH 206: Medical Anthropology
ANTH 210: Pop Culture
ANTH 215: Qualitative Methods
Residency in Prince George is expected for the term of the appointment.
Skills & Qualifications
A Master’s degree in a relevant field is required. Candidates nearing completion of a Master’s or PhD will be considered.
Qualified candidates with demonstrated experience teaching one or more of the courses mentioned above (or their equivalents) and experience with online instruction will be given priority consideration.
Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question.
