Required Qualifications:
A related post-secondary certificate required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma, supplemented by post-secondary certification in Business Administration, from a recognized post-secondary institution. 5 years’ experience in an intermediate or higher administrative support role, preferably in a health care setting. Proficient in the use of Health Sciences Placement Network (HSPnet). Advanced understanding of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Skype, etc.). Ability to work under pressure with multiple interruptions and manage multiple tasks with competing priority in a defined timeframe. Ability to work independently and within a team environment with minimal supervision. Proven critical thinking, analytical, adept problem solving, and conflict resolution skills. Must demonstrate attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. High standard of communication (oral and written), presentation, interpersonal, time management, organizational and prioritizing skills. Able to communicate effectively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders within complex working environments. Ability to show initiative, good judgement, confidentiality, flexibility with high levels of tact, professionalism and respect in all interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of academic health care programs and related curriculum. Knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a hospital department and/or program.
