Director, FSOP Sales – West

The Director of Food Service & On Premise (FSOP) Sales – West will mainly lead the FSOP sales function in West Canada, responsible for the achievement of sales goals; formulates sales strategy and develops sales forecast, budget & manpower plans; pursues major prospects and leads in major negotiations; monitors the application of operating standard procedure. The role will lead, coach and mentor a team of sales associates and will connect with all needed functions of NAOU to deliver the company strategic imperatives and grow the beverages business with existing customers and all new opportunities. In addition to the responsibilities on the FSOP portfolio, this role is also accountable for the leadership of select grocery retailers in Western Canada with dotted line reporting to the Retail Sales organization.

This role can be located in Vancouver or Calgary.

Function Related Activities

Accountable for delivering the annual business Plan.

Owns the relationship with customers in the West Zone of Canada.

Activates The North American Operating Unit (NAOU) Network (e.g., cross-functional team members, segment resources) to develop and implement business plan/solution that meets all customers’ needs and drives beverage category profit and volume.

Provides direct reports with leadership, direction, and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills.

Aligns Sales objectives and tactics with NAOU strategies.

Partner with other sales leads in Canada to compose team development curriculum, scale growth opportunities, and maintain full team alignment against the work that matters most.

Build business plan/solution, contingency plans in collaboration with the system

Team management: Recognize and/or reward associates for accomplishments versus planned objectives in order to encourage desired behavior and deliver superior business results.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Related Work Experience: At least 10 years related experience

Functional Skills

Inspirational leadership across reports/functions to enhance engagement, development, and team culture.

Consult with and influence senior management at various levels in and across a wide variety of functions (internal & external) and NAOU

Create strategic options to increase business growth. Research and analyze business information to develop an understanding of business planning processes.

Collaborate with clients to jointly identify the business systems requirements to support their business plans.

Lead resolution and re-planning activities with stakeholders to realign strategies and close identified gaps.

Manage or participate in cross-functional teams to promote technology strategies analyze and test products or perform pilot and first implementations of new technologies in order to integrate new technologies into the Company’s Global infrastructure.
