We are looking for dedicated and motivated individual to fill the following unionized position:
 
Public Service Counter Clerk Temporary Part Time – Up to 18 months

The Public Service Counter position provides front line service to the public by receiving, recording, screening and processing a variety of inquiries and reports. This position is also responsible for the main departmental switchboard, as well as assisting with responding to non- emergency calls via the non-emergency queue.

Independence and judgment are essential in the performance of assigned duties. You must also possess strong communication skills, both written and oral, in order to be effective in requesting and delivering information. The wage is $25.54 per hour, with 20 hours per week guaranteed.
 
The successful candidates must obtain and maintain an enhanced security clearance, which includes a polygraph test.
