The Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame (SSHF) is a progressive not-for-profit mid-sized NGO museum located in Regina. Our permanent collection encompasses approximately 19,000 items reflecting the sport history of the province. On an annual basis we offer a variety of programs in support of the SSHF inductees, temporary exhibits and events that celebrate Saskatchewan’s extensive sport history.
Job Duties: Assist with the development and implementation of the Creating Active Champions summer program. Conduct research to support current and future programs and exhibits within the hall of fame.
Length of Term: Monday, June 28 – Friday, August 20, 2021
Hourly Wage: $15.00/hour (37.5 hours/week)
Qualifications:
- Enrollment in a post-secondary program. Preferred current fields of study include: Education or Kinesiology
- Ability to work independently & as part of a team
- Ability to read, write & speak in English is mandatory
- Strong communication skills would be an asset
- Knowledge of basic museum practices would be beneficial
- A strong working knowledge of online platforms would be an asset
