POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under the responsibility of the Vice-President, Real Estate Development, the Real Estate Development Director is responsible for planning and developing development projects in their entirety, from zoning to the product to be developed. He works closely with Cogir Construction, the sales team as well as the Services Company (property operations).

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze the technical feasibility of projects

Contribute to pre-acquisition due diligence

Develop concepts: is responsible for the product in collaboration with the operations team

Negotiate and represent the company with municipalities and governments in order to obtain the zoning and permits required for the construction project

Plan and develop residential and mixed-use projects

Present the evolution of development projects to partners

Set up deadlines and participate in the realization of budgets

Supervise and direct the various external stakeholders who collaborate on development projects.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline (architecture, urban planning, project management or other)

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the development of real estate projects

Relevant experience in the design of residential projects and / or construction sites

High level experience in management and development of residential or mixed real estate projects of 25M and more

Master the numbers in real estate development and understand the contingencies that influence them

Knowledge of the various provincial and municipal laws and regulations governing real estate development

Perfectly bilingual.
