Day-to-day:

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Content Designer to join a Big 5 banking client. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating engaging and intuitive customer experiences for a Canadian and US products (mortgages, credit cards, loans and lines of credit). You will collaborate closely with various product partners, designers, and content designers to ensure the delivery of high-quality content. The ideal candidate is expected to have excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

Operate on teams and projects based in Canada and the US for mortgages, credit cards, loans and lines of credit (e.g. https://www.bmo.com/main/personal/mortgages/)

Turn complex financial concepts into user-friendly, accessible copy

Deliver marketing/sales copy, UX copy, information architecture, other key artifacts

Work closely with Product Designers, UX researchers, product owners, digital managers, the design system team, and other stakeholders

Pair and collaborate with other designers and content strategists

Conduct heuristic analysis, competitor research, and other forms of research and analysis to inform content strategy

Promote and practice open communication and contribute to a transparent and collaborative team culture

Skills and Requirements

2-3 years of experience in UX Writing / Content Design

Figma

Large enterprise experience

CMS experience (Contentful specifically is a major plus)

Agile experience, specifically working with technical stakeholders

Strong sense of collaboration with various stakeholder groups and ability to adapt to various working style

Strong communicator, dependable, and a go-getter who can work with stakeholders to drive clarity about user needs and business objectives, advance our design practice, and advocates for the user Contentful

Specific experience within banking or other financial institutions

Experience writing marketing/sales copy null
