Rogers is seeking a talented and driven Data and AI Governance Analyst to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Sr. Mgr. Enterprise Data Governance, the Data and AI Governance Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our data and AI practices are aligned with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks associated with data and AI use.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance requirements and standards aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • Implement data governance tools and technologies to support data lineage, metadata management, and Usage Analytics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a Data and AI governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data and AI governance best practices, providing guidance and facilitating training sessions and workshops to stakeholders across the organization to raise awareness of data and AI governance principles and practices.

  • Partner with IT teams to implement data governance controls and ensure alignment with data architecture and security standards.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies related to data and AI governance and incorporate them into our governance framework.

  • Conduct assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of existing governance practices and identify areas for improvement.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data and AI governance matters and provide guidance to stakeholders across the organization, including data privacy, security, and ethical considerations.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in data governance, responsible AI governance, data management or related fields.

  • Proficiency in SQL programming such as SQL, Python, Hive, Java.

  • Relevant experience working with data governance tools and platforms (i.e Collibra, Purview, Atlan, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, etc…)

  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience developing and implementing data and AI governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

  • Familiarity with AI ethics principles and frameworks (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design, ACM Code of Ethics).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in preparation of reports and presentations for senior managers and Executives.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience using a Data Quality tool, such as Informatica Data Quality, Oracle Enterprise Data Quality, Collibra Data Quality, or other.

  • Experience using BI tools to effectively communicate KPIs, Metric and pertinent information to support to decision-making and planning.

  • Knowledge of JAVA.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CDMP, DGSP) a plus

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities during busy periods.

  • Ability to explain data and business processes and train peers/subordinates to access systems, conduct assessments, and report insights and findings.
