Director, Channel Sales (Remote, Canada)

The Director, Channel Sales be responsible for leading the team of Partner Account Managers dedicated to our channel sales business in Canada.

What you’ll achieve

Field leadership and strategy development, grow and protect partners with heavy emphasis on relationship development, and develop team of channel sales professionals and manage overlay sales and support teams.

You will:
Directly oversee sales team for all of Canada

Understand and implement strategic direction of the direct sales organization; drive strategic account management and business pipeline development

Understand the market in which the company and our competitors operate in, including our business/industry in general, and use that knowledge to plan future strategic customer engagements

Provide direction, development and inspiration to the team members in the organization

Essential Requirements

7+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people-motivation experience

15 + years of sales experience

Executive presence

Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into business plan

Able to set priorities and keep team focused on the important tasks

CIO, CTO, CISO, IT VP relationship building experience

Motivates and drives sales performance

Builds strong relationships within and external to Dell Technologies
