As a member of the Academic Initiatives and Planning (AIP) team, you will be instrumental in supporting and coordinating program development and renewal activities, including leading workshops for program review teams and conducting research in support of program development and renewal activities at the University. You will be collaborating with the AIP team in support of academic quality assurance activities governed by University policies and legislated requirements. We are looking for a cross-functional collaborator to help us continue to deliver and deepen our quality assurance activities with the objective of building out exceptional experiences for our employee and student community. You will work with a team of talented Academic Initiative and Planning professionals, an engaged community and an impactful executive team.

What you’ll do

  • Provides support at various stages to enable program areas to conduct effective and efficient program development and review in alignment with the University’s mandate and strategic plans.
  • Provides planning and support to academic units departments to ensure quality proposals are submitted by the agreed deadlines within the program review and approval process.
  • Conducts appropriate research and analysis in support of program development and review.
  • Develops methods for collecting information to support university academic quality assurance requirements and planning objectives.

What you’ll bring

  • A BA or BBA or other similar bachelor’s degree is required. Related education may be considered.
  • Two or more year’s recent experience is required in a similar role within a post-secondary environment.

Salary

Pay group 22 begins at $4,712 per month with increments to a max of $5,302 per month (based on 35 hour work week)
