What to Expect:
The Physical Logistics specialist will be responsible for all processes/transactions related to Physical Logistics are followed up on, analysed and corrected to ensure that orders flow correctly and in time to our final customers. This individual will work closely with the third-party logistics Operations Team, Nespresso Customer Service and Nespresso demand and planning teams.
A day in the life:

Ensure efficient processing and fulfillment of customer orders with the third-party logistics (3PL) provider.

Collaborate with internal teams and the third-party logistics to address order-related issues and ensure timely delivery.

Support the reverse logistics analyst in managing returns and refusals.

Assist in order cancellation process and stock alignment.

Coordinate activities and projects with the third-party logistics, such as promotions and quality issues.

Prepare and maintain reports for the Physical Logistics team, including key performance indicators reports.

Manage order exceptions and adjustments across various channels.

Identify performance gaps and suggest improvements, especially with the 3rd party logistics.

Support financial reconciliation and reporting for Distribution Center supplies.

Participate in process improvement initiatives and apply project management techniques.

Contribute to global initiatives and share best practices within the Nespresso Network.
Role Requirements

Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market.

3-5 years of experience in logistics and order fulfilment.

Direct experience in a distribution center or with a 3rd party logistics.

Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, warehouse management system (WMS) and Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).

Strong problem-solving skills and proactive in providing solutions.

Ability to handle a high volume of transactions and manage stress during peak periods.

Autonomous and independent, capable of implementing company policies and guidelines.

Strong interpersonal skills.
