Key Responsibilites of the 2nd Press Operator include but are not limited to:

Assist the Press Operator to ensure the quality of produced product exceeds customer expectations and that all performance goals are acheived.

Perform general housekeeping.

Comply with all GMP and quality procedures.

Leads in washing of plates, blankets, rollers and ink fountains as needed.

Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve printing issues.

Ensures all materials are available for the next job.

Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.

Follows all company policies and processes.

Must be familiar with and able to adhere to all company safety policies and government legislation. (i.e. Occupational Health and Safety Act).

Completes all required paperwork to accompany jobs.

Attends and particiaptes in on-going training.

Other duties as assigned and required.
Education/Experience:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
1 -2 years experience in a manufacturing/printing environment preferred.

Must be able to interact with customers, co-workers and managers in a professional and courteous manner, per the company Code of Conduct and Ethics.

Must be able to work indepenantly when needed, and lead a team as required.
-
Mechanically inclined.
-
Must be able to adapt to changing work priorieis in a fast-paced environment while completing daily tasks.

Must be able to take initiative

Must have good communicaiton skills

Good physical condition and capable of heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs.)
Work Schedule:
- Successful candidate must be able to work all shifts, including but not limited to: days, evenings, afternoons, continental, weekends and holidays, without exception, in a 24/7 continuous operation environment.
NOTE: Candidates not able to work required shifts, will not be considered for the role.
