PART TIME CTS TEACHER

Clearview Public Schools is accepting applications for a probationary part time (approximately 0.5 FTE) teaching position commencing August 30, 2021 at Gus Wetter School. Located in Castor, Alberta, Gus Wetter School is a vibrant and modern school with approximately 225 students in grades K-12. This teaching assignment will involve teaching Career and Technology Studies classes in the Trades/Manufacturing/Transport cluster. Specifically, the assignment will include teaching fabrication, construction and mechanics classes to students in grades 7 through 12.

The successful applicant will be a student focused teacher with experience in creating engaging and authentic learning experiences for students. Candidates must have a strong safety track record and preference will be given to teachers with a journeyman ticket.

Successful candidates will be required to provide a current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and a current Intervention Record Check prior to employment commencing. Candidates selected for an interview will be required to supply three references that have agreed to be contacted at the time of the interview.
