The Ministry of Finance is responsible for oversight of government revenue, expenses, assets and liabilities. The Finance and Operations Branch, within the Corporate Services Division of the Ministry, provides financial, accounting, operational and administrative services for the Ministry and several other associated entities.
The Finance and Operations Branch is seeking a multi-skilled, innovative individual with strong management, communication and leadership skills to be the Manager of Operations. Reporting to the Director, Finance and Operations Branch, the Manager will lead a team of two employees, which is responsible and accountable for a wide range of functions for the Ministry of Finance, including (but not limited to):
Legislative services, including the preparation of cabinet documents;
Access and privacy;
Records management;
Policy analysis and development;
Procurement;
Accommodations;
Safety and security; and
Coordination and administration of government and/or ministry-wide initiatives.
Our candidate of choice will have management experience along with extensive knowledge of government operations as well as a demonstrated ability to lead a team through the development and continuous improvement of the above functions.

The successful candidate will possess an undergraduate degree, diploma and/or designation in a relevant field such as business administration, finance or management, along with related experience.
