Administrative Assistant Continuing Education and Contract Training

Duties: Reporting to the Manager and assisting the Program Administrator, Continuing Education and Contract Training, this position is responsible for responding to inquiries for information from students, staff, and the general public; registering students, collecting fees and initiating refunds; maintaining student records; producing office correspondence and maintaining Continuing Education and Contract Training records. The position is also responsible for collecting and entering a wide range of registration, course and student data into the Colleague system and providing additional administrative support to the instructors, Manager and Program Administrator all while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanour.
Qualifications: Office Administrative Certificate with a minimum 3 years related work experience in an office and customer service environment. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide five-star customer service both internally and externally. Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Salary: CUPE Pay Level 3 ($39,256 – $48,134 per year). The College also offers a comprehensive range of benefits.
