Now we want to test a few more things. And we need a Partnerships Manager, Warehouses to help us do that.
Job Description
The Transportation and Logistics Product Partnerships team is scaling to enable closer collaboration with our partners, internal and external, that serve our merchants through the Shopify Fulfillment Network (SFN).
This role presents an exciting opportunity to help Shopify deepen and expand its partnerships with 3PL and warehouse product partners and will be key to helping the SFN team enable SFN merchants ensure that merchants products are distributed in a dependable, competitive and sustainable manner to their customers.
Here’s the sort of things you’ll be working on:
Communicate and develop relationships within partner warehouse organizations
Work with cross functional team to continually align and deliver on partner goals
Solve problems. This role will continually be challenged to consider the impact of key decisions for Shopify, our partners and their merchants and navigate between often competing priorities
You’ll be the owner of partner-driven initiatives for warehouse product partnerships
You’ll proactively identify opportunities that contribute to the partner team’s goals
You’ll define strategy with key stakeholder support and implement the resulting plans
You’ll oversee all aspects of the project from planning, resourcing, delivery, and assessments of impact
You’ll identify and assess potential commercial opportunities with new and existing partners
You’ll be a key player in cross-functional projects, owning cross-functional process development and relationship management
You’ll contributing to the partner team’s yearly operational plan, working with leadership to develop out quarterly goals & objectives, defining metrics, and assessing resourcing needs
You’ll monitor the partnership performance on a weekly and monthly basis and identify areas of concerns with recommended actions
You’ll dig deep and provide recommendations to strengthen partner performance driving increased merchant delight
Qualifications
Organized and efficient mindset
3+ years in operations, product, or relationship management roles; if you have experience working in the fulfillment (3PL), supply chain or shipping industry that is a bonus
Excellent verbal and written communicator
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and able to build dynamic relationships with partners
