Sabra is looking for a General Manager of Canada to take accountability for Canada’s strategies, operations and financial results. The ideal candidate is strategic, innovative, self-motivated and analytical in order to oversee daily business activities in Sales, Marketing, Finance and work cross functionally with Operations, develop Canada’s strategic plans and communicate business goals.

Architect the strategic plans to deliver the annual operating plan targets across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations

Identify the Go to Market Strategy to drive success across all channels of business (Food Service, Conv, Drug, Grocery, Mass, Discount, Club etc)

Lead the operations and logistics approach and ensure the right strategy is developed and implemented

Accelerate the category and share growth through marketing and sales strategies that drive velocities

Develop the team to understand the consumer insights, needs and demand moments to design a strategy that will address all these aspects and drive significant household penetration and buy rate

Leverage parent company/HQ support and matrixed relationship to full potential

Manage cross functional relationships and establish collaborative partnerships with Sabra Headquarter functions and leaders

Act like an entrepreneur and owner while respecting broader organizational needs and guardrails

Ensure stated sales and operating objectives are met through the planning, development and execution of goals and objectives, develop sound operating plans and strategies to achieve goals.

Oversee sales performance metrics and drive results across key performance indicators

Foster deep relationships with key stakeholders in customer organizations, identify and clarify internal/external customer needs and expectations, and take action to ensure that Sabra and customer goals are aligned and met

Attract, retain and develop Canadian team talent

Align with functional leaders across the organization to define and manage annual customer-specific sales plans that deliver profitable sales, distribution of items/SKUs and display goals

Recipe for Success

Degree required

Minimum 15 years experience

People management experience

Independent thought-leader; self-motivated and self-directed work style; ability to work with a diverse team

Ability to thrive in a high paced work environment, pay close attention to detail and meet business-driven deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to articulate clear direction and influence others

Sound understanding of the complexity of business issues faced internally and externally

Excellent project management, prioritization and resource utilization abilities

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to travel 20-25%
