The ideal candidate is someone who understands logistics and supply chain and has solid experience in working with 3PL and Transport partners. The candidate is also very analytical and process oriented, able to work around complex supply chain cases and build efficient and productive operations. Additional requirements would be previous tendering experience, solid understanding of Service Level Agreements and other key metrics around productivities and sustainability indicators.
What you’ll be working on:
Logistics and Distribution Management (60%)
Monitor and manage Kotn’s logistics operations
Analyze KPI’s and productivity metrics
Define and implement improvement plans
Plan, analyze and improve processes and procedures
Manage and optimize Kotn’s entire supply chain, all the way from sourcing to last mile
Control and reduce logistics and distribution costs while maintaining efficiency and delivery commitments
Manage seasonal peaks in advance. Ensure internal and external resources are available for smooth operation
Communicate with other departments across the business, such as Merchandising, Buying, Production, Customer Service and others
Monitor deadlines, quality, budgets, and others
Monitor supplier and partner sustainability metrics and practices
Manage in-house and outsourced teams
Fulfillment & Transport (30%)
Build solid relationships with Kotn’s 3PL and Transport partners
Negotiate rates and support Fulfillment Centers (FC) in achieving solid productivities
Implement corporate solutions at the FC’s, including sustainability best practices
Organize Service Level Agreements with FC and Transport partners to make sure no delays happen in delivering to customers
Growth and Development (10%)
Tender and partner with third party logistics providers (3PL) where needed and deploy new operations in line with Kotn’s growing network and reach
Support Kotn’s global expansion plans by designing relevant and efficient supply chain models

Additional Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain Management (MBA is an asset)
Minimum 6 years experience in a senior Logistics position
Exceptional communication and analytical skills
Experience in project development (budget management, expansions, etc.)
Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons
Flexibility, proactiveness and initiative
Alignment with the company’s ethos considered a requirement for this department
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
Experience in Retail or Apparel industries would be considered an asset
Solid experience in Microsoft Office. Experience with other tools is a plus
Availability to travel when required
