Assistant Reservations Manager (Permanent Full Time)

What you will be doing:
Oversee the daily operations for the largest in-house reservations department within the NCA region (team of up to 19, including four coordinators).

Oversee inventory management and room allocation for our historic 757 room hotel and find the balance between our four key pillars.

Work closely with Sales, Revenue Management, PR, Marketing and Operations Teams to develop and execute new packages, rates and processes.

Assist with other duties as assigned. As a leader of the Rooms Division, you may be asked to assist in other operational departments within rooms division as needed due to staffing levels. .

Your experience and skills include:
Proven leadership abilities in a large volume luxury setting

Previous reservations / sales or rooms operations experience is an asset

Opera Property Manager System (PMS) and Central Reservations System (CRS) experience an asset

Must display strong communication, analytical, organizational and administrative skills to be able to deal with multiple priorities simultaneously

Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Word, and Excel

Must be willing to work shifts (including split shifts) and varied days off on occasion and able to sit for long periods.
