Clearview Public Schools invites applications for an Educational Assistant position at Gadsby Colony School. Located approximately 25 minutes southeast of Stettler on the Gadsby Hutterite Colony, the Gadsby Colony School has 21 students in grades 1 to 8. The successful applicants will work with individual students or small groups within a classroom setting. This position is scheduled to start September 1, 2021, and will be approximately 6 hrs/day.

The successful applicant will:
Be able to work in a collaborative team environment;

Be interested or experienced in working with children with a variety of needs; and

Be a self starter capable of working independently.

Special consideration will be given to those with an Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable experience. Educational Assistants receive a competitive salary of $16.00 to $24.00 per hour. The successful candidates will work in a learning environment focused on student success. Successful candidates will be required to provide a current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and child Intervention Record Check prior to employment commencing.
