ROLE OVERVIEW
As Managing Director you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the nanofabrication team in Edmonton, AB.
A DAY IN THE LIFE…
Applying behavioral psychology and neuroscience for highest individual and team productivity and happiness.
Provide management oversight, monitor site activities, and ensure compliance to all company’s policies.
Point of contact for operations, human resources, and project management activities for the site.
Liaise directly with senior management on site objectives and operations.
Organize team meetings to ensure continuous project improvements.
Manage daily on-site operations including coordinating lab access, check-ins of employees.
Just be an all around awesome leader.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL…
As Managing Director you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Business degree with a focus in Human Resources.
10 years professional work experience.
Team management experience.
Strong interest in behavioral science, neuroscience, and industrial and organizational psychology.
Excellent communicator and listener.
Ability to learn quickly.
Not afraid of deep technology.
Pragmatic approach to problems.
Open dialogue with all team members across the company.
Initiative, energy, and foresight in evaluating and responding promptly to challenging situations, problems and opportunities for improvement within projects.
