Kwanlin Dün is a self-governing First Nation with our Traditional Territory covering and extending beyond the borders of Whitehorse, Yukon’s capital city. We signed our Final and Self-Government agreements in 2005. These modern treaties give us the power to make our own decisions about what happens with our land, resources, governance, programs and services. We are focused on exercising the power of these agreements to build a bright future for our citizens, our communities and Yukon as a whole.

The Kwanlin Dün government takes direction from a wholly elected Council. We are centred in the Whitehorse suburb of McIntyre. Kwanlin Dün provides a number of programs and services, including culturally relevant health and wellness care through our Natsékhi Kų̀ Health Centre and citizen support tailored to our unique needs through our innovative Community Safety Officer program.
