Are you a driven leader with a great understanding of sales? Do you enjoy analytics and monitoring a company’s inventory, sales and forecasts? Is working with digital and technology a preference of yours? In this position you will be responsible for our new car inventory tracking, such as, reviewing levels of new car inventory, ordering new inventory, and performing daily analysis.
The Job
You will create the new car sales forecasts by estimating total vehicle sales, gross, and operating profits as well as expenses for the new car department.
You will oversee standards for displaying and merchandising for new vehicles.
You will partner with the dealerships general manager to review forecasts and profits for each department to ensure targets are being achieved.
Analyzing the business and sales market to determine areas of opportunity.
Must be willing to work the hours needed to achieve the monthly goals
The ability to exceed vehicle sales volume requirements
The ability to grow the sales volume utilizing available software tools and effective Internet strategies
The ability to manage and adapt the CRM and follow-up processes while growing our database to effectively create new business opportunities
Reinforce strategies and efforts for increasing market share, gross profit, client satisfaction, member retention, F&I profit and any additional corporate goals
Utilize Client Relationship Management (CRM) and other systems to coach Sales Consultants to achieve monthly goals through effective client retention and prospecting strategies
Develop internal best practices in areas of inventory control, systems integration and optimization, along with demand forecasting and planning.
Administer and oversee the organization’s new car inventory
Analyze, investigate, and correct inventory discrepancies
The Qualifications
3+ years of management experience
5+ years of automotive experience required
Prior experience managing inventory
Prior experience working in a high-volume sales environment
Must be willing to work the hours needed to achieve the monthly goals
Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients, visitors, and fellow team members, exhibiting diplomacy and tact
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, train, and motivate others
Well-groomed, professional appearance
Proficient Microsoft Office skills
Excellent customer service skills to support both internal and external clients
Detail-oriented with a sense of pride in quality work
Demonstrates problem solving skills; ability to prioritize workload
Valid driver licence
