Our team is growing and we are actively looking to hire a Director, Operations Readiness to join our team! Reporting to the Vice President, Allstate Sales and Service, you will be responsible for leading the achievement of strategic plans that enable agents to adopt winning behaviours by providing first in class programs, communications and access to a national support and resource network. This role is accountable for overseeing the following: Program Delivery, Onboarding, Agent Communications, Operations Support and Measurement.

Role Designation : Home-based

Accountabilities:
Ensure the delivery of optimal Operations Readiness results within appropriate performance metrics, including onboarding, licensing and retention

Operational execution of business strategies and objectives through the delivery and evaluation of best in class national and regional onboarding, communication and learning programs that build Agent capabilities and competencies

Develop and enhance KPIs for the department that supports targeted and measurable action

Build sustainable infrastructure to effectively evaluate quality of Agent/Customer interactions and diagnose development opportunities

Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities such as Quartiling, Agent service observes, frequently asked questions, onboarding and learning assessments, feedback from Managers

Ensure Directors and Managers are familiar with and leveraging tools and resources to support continual growth and development of Agency force

Evaluate and adapt delivery practices to drive sustainable performance improvements

Maintain effective partnership with Design team, providing feedback to further enhance program content and effectiveness

Collaborate and consult with Allstate Brand Sales & Service leaders and business partners; ensure responsive to the voice of customer with timely and useful delivery of communication, knowledge transfer and changes with business practices

Partner with Operations Effectiveness team to ensure appropriate onboarding and Agent development data is captured in Agent performance reporting to inform business decisions

Ensure control mechanisms are in place for ongoing compliance with provincial Licensing requirements

Provide strategic direction and leadership by selecting, developing and managing a team capable of effectively carrying out Operations Readiness strategies

Ensure the overall seamless coordination/integration of program and communication delivery to all levels of Allstate Sales & Service agents

Develop, implement and maintain preventative and detective control mechanisms and processes to ensure compliance with overall ACG and regulatory, legal and ethical policies and requirements and to ensure adequate mitigation of risks Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experiences:
Post-secondary education in a relevant field combined with 7-10 years of demonstrated leadership experience

Demonstrated leadership skills to develop, coach and manage a team of direct reports

Proven ability to enhance performance and engagement across teams

Knowledge of insurance regulations, regulator, product, price and underwriting rules

Ability to think strategically, identify, analyze and provide business-case solutions to complex problems

Strong analytical skills

Demonstrated financial and business acumen

Strong influencing and collaboration skills with the ability to embrace and lead change initiatives

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bilingual in English and French is an asset.

Other Than Life insurance license and Certified Insurance Professional, is an asset.

Professional Designation in a related field is preferred, for example: Ontario Society for Training & Development and/or Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario [CHRP/CHRL].
