About the Role
As the Sr. Director, Marketing, you will have the opportunity to advance Maple’s mission of building a connected healthcare experience by leading key functions of the marketing communications delivery team. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you bring deep experience leading integrated marketing and communications teams across multiple pillars such as website management, digital acquisition, public relations, creative and content marketing. You’re a seasoned, ambitious, and results-oriented individual who understands what it takes to build great brands, influence consumers and decision-makers in a channel-agnostic landscape and inspire teams to achieve their best.
Responsibilities
You will:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of strong marketing professionals across various marketing disciplines such as digital and social media marketing, website management, communications, brand, and content marketing.
Work closely with cross-functional departments such as Product Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, and Clinical Operations to deliver on marketing objectives and overall corporate goals.
Lead the delivery of the Maple marketing communications plan and ensure seamless integration across all internal and external teams.
Have accountability for delivering strategic marketing programs that deliver on growing market awareness, consideration, and adoption.
Manage the day-to-day marketing delivery calendar, budget, resource planning, and process optimization.
Work closely with the VP Marketing and senior Maple leadership team to develop and execute channel strategies, including B2C and B2B, and implement key priorities.
Required Skills
12+ years of marketing experience, with a mix of agency and client-side experience.
Strong experience leading and managing a group of diverse marketing skill sets such as performance marketing, communications, content marketing, and creative.
Experience developing and delivering creative, innovative, and integrated marketing strategies.
Ability to stay ahead of and adapt to a constantly changing digital landscape, and experience with marketing analytics and performance marketing optimization.
Track record of building high-performance marketing programs and initiatives that have delivered incremental gains across the entire funnel (brand awareness and health, consideration, acquisition, and customer engagement).
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Diverse experience in multiple organizational settings (start-up, scale-up, midsize and large organizations) is an asset.
Digital healthcare experience is an asset.

Salary: $130,000 – $150,000
Performance Bonus: Eligible for an annual performance-based bonus
Equity compensation: Available subject to board approval, to be discussed. Note that strike price is based on fair market value at the time of the option grant, which is also subject to change and board approval
