Job Description
As a member of the Ontario sales team, you will be responsible for promoting the products to automotive customers and helping to achieve overall company goals. The territory is the region of the Greater Toronto Area. More specifically, here are the responsibilities that will be entrusted to you:
Achieve annual allocated budgets, Annual Volume / GMVC.
Prospect and solicits new business to develop new accounts and better margins according to the commercial policy in place. Increase SOM of PCMO segment in assigned territory.
Promote product range to customers / distributors / automotive jobbers in the assigned territory.
Develop and implements, in collaboration with the Sales Director, a local strategy specific to the assigned territory.
Solicit and meets new resellers / automotive jobbers / garages and new direct commercial clients for our products.
Support distributors / resellers / automotive jobbers in their development by meeting potential clients with them.
Consolidate existing customers with a view on volume of sales and profitability (organic growth).
Gather information on his specific market : identifies competitors and their strategy, products, prices, services offered, etc.
Negotiate commercial arrangements with his clients according to company policies.
Maintain accurate and organized records of daily activities using the CRM tool, analyze results and participate in establishing his objectives. Provide daily / weekly / monthly activities, using CRM tool to Sales Director.
Make presentations on technical solutions for targeted customers.
Propose technical and commercial solutions to meet customer’s needs.
Participate in trade fairs to promote our products and develop a notoriety.
Collaborate with other departments to solve problems such as, late payments, pricing discrepancies, invoicing errors, special orders, equipment loans, returned products, account opening, etc.
Candidate profile
Valid Canadian work permit.
Good knowledge of the local market, the territory and its customers.
University degree with 2-3 years of experience in commercial sales preferably in lubricants.
A sound knowledge of lubricant products or ability to rapidly learn these.
Good communication skills and ability to provide informative presentations to customers.
Experience in all methods of prospecting including cold calling.
Must be a disciplined self-starter.
Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of SalesForces an asset
