Manager, Strategy

In support of the Corporate Development & Strategy team, the Manager, Strategy will be responsible for providing support for the evaluation, planning and execution of various strategic initiatives across the organization. The Manager will also contribute to the evaluation of new growth opportunities and business case development. The ideal candidate will have experience in management consulting and have demonstrated the ability to influence at the most senior levels of an organization.
Core Accountabilities
In collaboration with regional and functional teams, support the development and evaluation of strategic alternatives for the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Directors.
Partner with senior leaders to develop and advance corporate strategy including leading key initiatives.
Identify and deconstruct business issues and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analyses and influence/support corporate decisions.
Adjust existing strategies based on new learning/changes in the competitive environment.
Prepare “executive ready” presentation materials and deliverables.
Support in the M&A process work streams, which includes (but is not limited to) due diligence, synergy assessment, post-merger integration, etc.
Qualifications
Relevant undergraduate degree
2-4 years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience at a management consulting firm or in a corporate strategy role
Strong analytical skills with ability to conduct research, build decision/financial models and use independent judgment to solve problems
Strategic mindset with strong critical thinking skills and ability to craft compelling business cases
Project management and business analysis experience; in a role with senior leadership exposure, and high level of accountability
Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across functions and departments, with an ability to lead through influence
Comfort with navigating ambiguity and with being constantly challenged/stretched
Excellent communicator (both oral and written)
