What will you do in this job?:
Drive the number one Trip Advisor rated restaurant in Banff to continue it’s place as the top restaurant in the region with elevated service and Guest experience in this high volume operation

Drive brand and service levels to new heights

Providing daily oversight of multiple operations, including function and logistics organization, increasing sales and profitability & consistent delivery of exceptional guest service standards

Development and training of high quality team members and ability to provide leadership and coaching that fosters an environment of problem solving, service, teamwork, accuracy and speed

Anticipate key issues and informational needs and be prepared to discuss ongoing performance

Achieve revenue targets, monthly forecasting and budgets, expense and labor management

Ensure effective reporting to Food & Beverage Manager and communication to greater team

Continuous improvement of guest and employee experiences, create the “WOW” experience

Follow and improve standards and SOP’s based on Guest needs and requirements

Daily inspections of cleanliness and organization

On the spot conflict and Guest service resolution, ability to deal with Guest issues and concerns

Demonstrate positive attitude and a commitment for delivering world class service

Help support all areas within the Gondola – keeping in mind ‘one guest – one experience’

What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
5+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry

Diploma/ Degree within Hospitality focusing in Food and Beverage is an asset

Experience building relationships and working on teams across all levels of an organization

Experience with opening a new concept and restaurant ability to take ownership and drive results

Proven track record in maintaining a high level of standards within the organization on and off the floor

Effective communicator and able to implement and uphold service standards

Understanding of financial statements, and forecasting with an ability to control expenses

Driven to fostering a team building environment and creating positive guest experience

An eye for detail and quality Shows leadership in a positive, calm, consistent & focused manner
