As an HR Business Partner, you will be the primary HR professional supporting specific client groups. You will work closely with business leaders and functional managers, to execute the HR strategy and operating plan in order to achieve business results. You will create proactive solutions to drive and facilitate change initiatives and continuous improvement projects in support of the customer groups and occasionally the broader business. You will work in all HR areas including compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, policy/procedure interpretation, employee communications, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness for the client groups.

Rôle et Responsabilités

Implement compensation programs – identify equity concerns, retention concerns and work with COE to solution. Work with customer groups and COE on promotion and salary adjustment needs.

Implement performance management process, assist in development plans, lead performance improvement plan/process with managers.

Coach managers on talent (top performers and poor performers)

Interpret and manage the application of all HR policies

Assist in the development of employee engagement actions with customer groups; monitor and provide feedback to managers

Participate in all manager and above recruiting

Lead job requisition process and job description development with managers

Manage headcount plans for customer groups

Review organization structure for effectiveness (right person assigned the right work); create staffing plans

Develop change management plans for organizational changes or to support business changes.

Develop and lead communication process to support organization changes.

Provide coaching and feedback to managers

Manage employee relations issues

Manage termination process and assist managers

Assist managers with communications, team meetings, recognition processes and team building.

Develop a macro workforce plan for customer groups

Knowledge/Experience/Competencies/Education/Mandatory Internal Training:

Degree or diploma in HR management (preferred concentration HR, Org Design & Development or Management) with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of HR experience preferred

CHRP designation an asset

Strong business acumen with proven experience in partnering with the business to understand business priorities, principles and practices and the ability to translate those into HR priorities.

Sound technical knowledge and experience as a HR Business Partner/Generalist with a proven track record of developing and delivering value-add HR solutions

Sound experience and knowledge in employee relations and employment legislation, HR best practices, organizational change, HR policy & processes, HR strategy/development & application, performance management, development and career planning, compensation

Strong analytical, assessment and written skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Developed interpersonal and communication skills, to interact with a wide range of employees

Able to positively influence, negotiate, partner, and coach managers and employees.

Strong influencing, judgment and consultative skills

Proven ability to proactively drive and support change management efforts

Excellent verbal and written communication and problem solving skills

Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion & tact

Creative thinking with the ability to streamline processes and drive efficiencies

Previous experience in a people management role an asset

Strong project management skills to lead HR initiatives and programs across SECA.

Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other office products.
