The Opportunity * Plant Manager
*

Reporting to the General Manager, Lumber Operations, the Plant Manager provides strong and influential people-centred
leadership and direction to achieve safety, environmental, operational, quality and financial objectives. As a key member of
Sinclar’s leadership group, the Plant Manager drives a continuous improvement culture and is responsible for ensuring a safe
and efficient operation while meeting the companies values and goals.

As the successful candidate, you will possess outstanding leadership skills in addition to sound mechanical and technical
abilities; the ability to create, articulate and garner broad support for a vision; exceptional communication abilities; and a
track record of successful process improvements. With a relentless commitment to safety, you will work collaboratively with
your immediate team and others across the organization to meet high safety, performance and quality standards and to
deliver the required results.

Additionally, you will be Sinclar’s senior representative in the community. As such plays a significant role in representing the
Company by supporting community initiatives and providing a bridge between local and regional government
representatives, First Nations, businesses, and residents and the Sinclar Group.
