This is a temporary, part-time position based upon 24 hours per week. Flexibility in scheduling is required. The work schedule is determined in consultation with your supervisor and may vary according to requirements of responsibility. Applicable shifts include a ½ hour unpaid meal break.
Shifts will vary from: Monday to Sunday, 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for screening of visitors, employees, volunteers, vendors and contractors as they enter the Niagara Eventide Long Term Care Home
- Responding to inquiries and directing visitors within the building
- Ensure high touch point areas are being cleaned, sanitized and disinfected throughout the day
- Perform all duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all hazards to the supervisor immediately
- Any other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 months of experience in a clinical or health care environment, long term care setting is preferred
- Experience working directly with the public (e.g. customer service, patient relations)
- Current enrollment in Registered Nursing, Registered Practical Nursing or Personal Support Worker programs considered an asset
- First Aid and CPR certification considered an asset
- Successful candidate will require a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
- TB test is required

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (mask, glove, etc) as required
- An annual influenza vaccination is recommended
- Regular COVID-19 testing required
- Required to work even if home is in an outbreak with required Personal Protective Equipment
