Work together in a multi-national team of IS Cluster, Country and Site/Factory Managers. Ensure the business satisfaction with all IS services delivered into a Country or sub cluster of Countries by coordinating the service delivery towards the local business, assessing expectations, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps, and influencing stakeholder perceptions of IS services. Manages relationships with stakeholders to update status, resolve issues and manage expectations.

Your responsibilities

Solutions

Proactively collaborates with the local Business Unit IS Management, internal and 3rd Party IS Suppliers (as the case may be). Is for the assigned country scope overall accountable towards PG Business and functions that delivery of business processes/projects supporting IS systems/projects is aligned to Business and functions needs. , resulting in improved efficiency, effectiveness, quality and/or operational functionality.

Influences and consults with IS senior management across IS functions to innovatively shape the design and development of own functional area.

IS Delivery

Is accountable for coordinating the delivery of IS Solution/service/support within PG Group supporting execution of requirements within budgeted costs and time schedule towards in scope Countries. Ensures effective interfaces between local/corporate IS teams for all IS activities and, where required, ensures demands adherence in line to agreed service level agreements (SLAs) that agreed time, budget and quality specifications are met.

Partners with Global Business Unit IS Managers, Global IS Supply managers and other PG Global and local IS managers to ensure that the delivery of IS services in his/her Countries follows criteria’s of efficiency, effectiveness, quality, compliancy, security and/or operational functionality.

Collaborates with business stakeholders and regional and global IS Performance Management on local budget creation and cost / budget monitoring. Develop strategies and actions to mitigate deviations.

Depending on size, staffing and setup of the local organization:

Performing the Application Management Role for a set of distinct applications when required.

Processes

In concert with Business Unit IS Management, Domain leads, Architects and other relevant PG IS parties, closely collaborates with Business or Function Process Owners to map (consolidated) Distinct business process demand to existing or new IS solutions. Ensures the installation / management / maintenance / optimization of internal IS and cross-functional processes related to IS Service delivery or IS Service demand.

Depending on size, staffing and setup of the local organization:

Act as control owner and performs sox control and/or testing when required because of segregation of duties in PG IS department. Takes care that IS Application and IS Server Master Data is maintained in iGAR (and/or in Service Now) for his area of responsibility in alignment with or on behalf of the application manager or the system owner

Maintains IS Contracts and manages issues of software that is unlicensed or underlicensed with Software Asset Manager or License Manager and the application /system owner. Takes care or verifies that Purchase orders and goods receipt are in place for all IS services received and invoices are approved in timely matter after verifying conditions are met.

IS Standards

IS accountable for development and maintenance of appropriate IS competence within the department, ensuring alignment to given IS goals, and compliance with PG IS Enterprise Architecture and Target Operating Model, any relevant IS Standards and any other applicable PG Group Directives and PG Group Guidelines. Develops, implements, maintains and executes IS internal standards as the case may be.

Supports the global IS functions in the implementation of the PG IS operating model.

Budget

Manages assigned budget effectively and delivers activities within agreed schedules and costs.

Stakeholder Management Increases satisfaction with IS services by assessing expectations, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps, and influencing stakeholders perceptions of IS service. Manages relationships with senior stakeholders to update status, resolve issues, and manage expectations. (Stakeholders may be internal to IS or customers from the business.)

Incident, Change or Project

Consults and provides input for any incident, change or project which has, or might have, a major impact on the department, and/or on the whole of IS. Informs/consults relevant IS colleagues on any change or project activities which may have a major impact on the others’ areas of responsibility.

Depending on size, staffing and setup of the local organization:

Local coordinaton of major security incidents and support information security mitigation programs.

Supporting end users with incidents of low severity (3 and 4) to get the right support and escalate when necessary

Governance

Executes, for assigned tasks, all actions in IS processes according to agreed RACIs and LEC specification.

IS Strategy

Contributes to the development of the PG IS Strategy, PG IS Target Operating Model and IS Enterprise Architecture.

Is responsible to set, develop and manage objectives and targets for IS Site and Factory is managers and other IS employees within his/her country Scope, in alignment with the global IS operating model and other IS line managers

People leadership and development

Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both PG and the employee.

Your background

5+ years experience in management of IT teams or local organizations, including people management responsibilities (due to line manager and/or hosting manager role)

Experience in budget and financial management in an IS environment

Strong leadership competencies

Proven track record in stakeholder management with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels and units

Self-starting qualities and demonstrable skills as a natural leader with a strong desire to succeed and advance personally and professionally

Excellent time management and quantitative/analytical skills and capacity to deliver first-class results despite time constraints

Customer advocate and relentless passion to deliver a good service and solve issues quickly.

Experience with process and organizational change management.

Experience in leading and working with distributed teams and processes and driving them towards high levels of operational excellence.

Deep sense of urgency and ability to identify and achieve quick wins.

Good communications and collaboration skills

Willingness to travel throughout the country and cluster when required

Bilingual: French and English
