NLC-21-038 Senior Coordinator – Adult Basic Education, Level 8 Permanent Full- Time

The Senior Coordinator is an in-scope position reporting to Adult Basic Education Manager or designate. The incumbent is also primarily responsible for all aspects of implementing and supervising a variety of training programs. The Senior Coordinator also plays a significant role in identifying community, business or industry needs; developing partnerships; developing and recommending policy or procedure modifications; and evaluating and adapting programs.

The minimum qualifications for this position are: Bachelor of Education degree, a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate and two years of related experience. A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered.

Candidates must demonstrate supervisory skills in managing and evaluating people, handling problems, and conflict resolution.

The incumbent must be prepared to schedule hours of work according to the demands of the position including evenings and weekends when necessary, and must possess a valid driver’s licence and be willing to travel to remote communities including overnight stays, air travel, and travel on gravel roads in all weather conditions.
