Director of Demand

As Vendasta’s Director, Demand, you will lead a growing team to drive demand and grow our pipeline. As a data-driven marketing expert, you will work with VP, Demand to define Vendasta’s global demand generation strategy to attract our ICPs through multi-channel programs. With a strong background in digital B2B demand generation and marketing operations, you are a leader of high-performing teams that are fiercely focused on building pipelines.

This role is open to remote candidates.

Responsibilities

You’ll own Demand Generation programs, including paid digital and marketing automation, from strategy, processes to final execution and reporting – to increase conversions and optimize spend

Partner closely with the Content and Product Marketing teams to ensure the correct marketing channels mix and proper multi-touch across the entire buyer journey

Design and manage campaigns championing thought leadership and top of funnel education, as well as lead progression and maturation, working closely with the SDR, partner and client teams

Build and lead a strong team of marketing professionals dedicated to achieving Vendasta’s overall goals for growth through constant innovation, research, and an entrepreneurial mindset

Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with team members to communicate functional goals, follow-up on progress, as well as encourage and assist with professional development

Develop sales and marketing initiatives to empower sales teams and channel partners.

Communicate campaign details to internal stakeholders and achieve alignment with our sales teams to maintain a cohesive messaging strategy

Provide ongoing reporting and insight related to Demand Gen programs and campaigns; evaluate program effectiveness/ROI, and optimize

Work with agencies and vendors to exceed marketing objectives

Educate stakeholders on best practices, coach the team of talented marketing professionals on best practices

Skills & Qualifications

8+ years in demand generation and campaign management; preferably in a B2B SaaS technology company

3+ years experience in a people management role with direct experience growing and developing others

Hands-on knowledge of demand generation principles, practices, and tactics (e.g., SEM, SEO, inbound go-to-market motion, etc.,)

Deep understanding of modern marketing techniques, including persona-based marketing, digital engagement and acquisition tactics, conversion rate optimization, and AI-powered lead scoring

Proven track record building TAM models using third party datasets to determine search volumes and YoY trends, and turning those models into operational plans

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and effectively able to communicate with other business leaders and the C-Suite level

Proven ability to plan and implement marketing campaigns

Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines; superb organizational skills and attention to detail

Demonstrated experience in successfully managing complex, cross-functional projects and teams across an Agile environment with strategy definition responsibilities and direct interaction with product, partners, sales, and etc.
